Sebastian Müller

Biography

Sebastian Müller studied philosophy, mathematics, and history at the University of Mannheim. While working on his PhD he was a research associate at the Institute for Practical Philosophy, as well as research associate at the institute for Marketing at the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel. After his PhD in 2020 he joined the cologne center for ethics, rights, economics, and social sciences in health at cologne university and managed the ViCon project. Since 2022 he is a senior researcher at the center for life ethics and the Heinrich Herz Chair of Prof. Dr. Christiane Woopen at the University of Bonn and the head of the research department economisation. Overall Sebastian Müller is interested in philosophy of economics, ethics, social ontology, and Public Health Ethics.

Application development and consulting for the BMJV funded project NakosiR (Nachhaltige Konsumstile in prototypischen sozialen Rollen-Überschneidungen) at Kiel University. The project investigate inter- and intra-role conflicts in sustainable consumption contexts.

Research Fellow with theBMBF funded project ViCon (Virtual assistant for informed consent) at ceres, University of Cologne.

 

2019 - 2020

Research associate with the project ROKOKO (Verbraucherrollen im kollaborativen Konsum) at Kiel University. The project investigates the attitudes and motives that promote or reduce collaborative consumption practices and outlines the social role of the collaborative consumer.

Advisor for the BMJV funded project ROKOKO at Kiel University.

 

2016 - 2019

Research associate with the BMBF funded project GESIOP (Gesundheitsmanagement aus inter-organisationaler Perspektive) at Kiel University. The project’s key objective is to develop ethical guidelines for occupational health activities and to give practical guidance on how to implement these guidelines in a company’s management structure.
