At this year's Bonn Science Night and the Festival of Democracy to mark the 75th anniversary of the German 'Grundgesetz' (Constitution), the Center for Life Ethics will be providing insights into its research, bringing the topics of ‘freedom and democracy’ to life through interactive activities and seeking dialogue with interested citizens.
The Bonn Science Night has been held every two years since 2000 and offers the opportunity to experience science up close. Under this year's motto ‘Freigeist’, numerous research and science institutions in the region will be presenting exciting hands-on stations, experiments and exhibitions. The Center for Life Ethics will be present on Friday, 17 May 2024, from 7 p.m. to 11p.m. in tent 7 on the market square.

Just a few days after the Bonn Science Night, the Office of the Federal President, the German Bundestag, the Bundesrat, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Federal City of Bonn, together with the 'Haus der Geschichte' (Museum of History), are inviting you to the Festival of Democracy. Themed ‘75 years of the Constitution - Democracy made in Bonn’, there will be a varied programme - the Center for Life Ethics will be participating on Saturday, 25 May 2024, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Platz der Vereinten Nationen.
