The class “Societal Diversity and Social Justice” deals with the challenges of an increasingly diverse society. This social diversity coincides with the polarization and sequencing of different social groups, combined with growing political pressure in the international arena. Solving these challenges requires conceptual analysis, theoretical foundations, and social debate.
In this seminar, various philosophical and judicial approaches and concepts in a local and global context will be examined and discussed with participants. Selected topics and their role in promoting democratic discourse while ensuring social justice will be examined. The event is open to students from all faculties and to the interested public.
