Anna Geldermann

Biography

Anna Geldermann, M. A., studied Media Education, Media Culture and Media Aesthetics (B. A. Intermedia) at the University of Cologne and M. A. Cultural Studies - Digital Arts and Media at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. In 2019 she became a Carlo-Schmid fellow at the United Nations System Staff College‘s Knowledge Center for Leadership and Management in Turin (Italy) and focused in the field of learning and training evaluation. Since October 2020 she works as a research associate at the Cologne Center for Ethics, Rights, Economics, and Social Sciences of Health and currently at the Center for Life Ethics at the University of Bonn. She coordinates the project "Orientation Aids in Dealing with Health Information on the Internet – Application and Extension in Practice". Her research focuses on epistemological and sociological examination of different media systems and technologies as well as their ethical evaluation and diversity-sensitive design. Currently, she is studying a second masters degree in Applied Ethics in Münster and is preparing her doctoral thesis.
